Hi there! My name is Patti Dunn. I graduated with my BS in Biology and Psychology. Both have been very helpful with working with my clients. I have been employed in the fitness industry since 1994. Along with my BS, I have Personal Trainer certifications through the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Council of Exercise. I have also been certified as a nutrition advisor through the International Association of Resistance Trainers.

I grew up in a family of six children so needless to say fitness was always a part of my life. I learned very early how to run fast from my brothers! I love to ski and as of last year I am beginning to love snowboarding.

My plan in life was to teach Biology to children but as I began to get my feet wet in the school system I realized I better served kids outside the classroom. I guess I really started in this industry in Banff Alberta where I worked for many years with children in an outdoor recreation program. I moved to Vancouver, Canada and that is where I decided to take my skills and promote fitness to the adult community. I moved to Seattle to be with my husband in 1998.

I love to work with people of all ages and backgrounds, especially that person who is new to fitness! They are often the most fulfilling to work with, as they are often keen on getting started and are willing to try anything new to keep themselves devoted.

It is my goal as a trainer to fit fitness into anyone’s lifestyle.

I like to make my clients' workouts fun so when they are with me they are always moving. I believe in promoting Functional Fitness, my goal is to have my clients improve so that their daily activities and interests become easier.

The most important thing I have learned from being a trainer is that there are many different people in this world with many different goals and lifestyles and my goal as a trainer is to make people aware that anyone can fit fitness into their lfestyle. Fitness is all around us, it is not just going to the gym, it is walking your dog, it is taking those stairs, it is walking to your office, it is dancing to your favorite song, basically it is moving your body and having fun!

Please feel free to email me any of your fitness or nutrition questions! And remember fitness is everywhere you look. So get out there and have some fun!
